Entitlement is when someone believes they deserve better treatment than others around them. From a business perspective, entitlement is when an employee believes they deserve better treatment than their colleagues.

Another definition of entitlement is getting the right to access, consume, or use a resource or application, usually at a small fee. A person can purchase entitlement to acquire a perpetual license or a time-limited right to utilize an app.
