Bill of Materials (BOM)

A BOM is a list of all the materials and components required to make or repair an object. This includes not just raw materials, but also finished products such as servers made from steel frames covered in plastic windows; it can even include instructions for how these things should look when they're done! A bill-of-materials usually takes up two levels: one level which displays what you get at each stage (the top), and another where we see individual parts broken down by type so there's no confusion about who needs what next time around.

There are different types of bills-of materials used in the design process, and they're also specific to manufacturing processes. Fill the form and see Field Complete in Action.
